Use this test to verify the memory used for your RAMdisk. Random data patterns are written into the memory allocated for the RAMdisk. Keep in mind that serious memory problems will probably prohibit the Mac from functioning before you get to this point.
NOTE: Testing can only be done on an existing RAMdisk volume. If the ( Test ) button i§t enabled, you must go back and check the [X] Enable RAMdisk option, specify the desired RAMdisk size, and Restart your machine.
The testing will continue until you stop it. Memory failures may be quite infrequent, so let the test run for several passes before stopping it.
Running this test will result in loss of all information already in the RAMdisk. The volume should be initialized after running tests.
